Lineups for Arsenal vs. Crystal Palace, plus LIVE reports

Can Arsenal bounce back from their shocking Europa League elimination when they play Crystal Palace?

Mikel Arteta and his team's spirits may have been dampened by Arsenal's shocking elimination by Sporting CP in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16, but there can be no room for error when you are leading the Premier League with a five-point advantage and Manchester City right behind you.

Without a doubt, the Gunners are in control of the season's final stretch after winning all five of their Premier League games following their 3-1 loss to City.

Arsenal should be further motivated by the fact that they have already defeated Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park this season. They haven't done the league double over Crystal Palace since the 2017–18 campaign. The Eagles haven't lost, though, in their last four trips to the Emirates Stadium, drawing three times and triumphing once.

Patrick Vieira was fired by Crystal Palace after they failed to win any of their previous 11 games. Paddy McCarthy, the manager of the Palace U21 team, will oversee tonight's encounter.

It will be interesting to see how the team reacts to Vieira's firing given that reports in the English media corroborate that everyone in the locker room adored the manager. Only three clubs have scored fewer goals this season than their 21 league goals. They are only three points above the relegation zone despite being in 12th position in the table. A victory is crucial for both Arteta & Co. and the residents of London.
